Well I’m stuck on a train while writing this. The net connection’s gone down, the iPod just ran out of juice and Fred and Wilma Flintstone are struggling to keep their hell children under control on the adjacent seats. Next time I fly; or walk. But nevermind, it gives me the perfect opportunity to send you all a message.

A big welcome to those new to meGay – we’ve made a lot of changes since we first opened earlier in the year – and we hope to add a lot more. Thanks for all your support so far.

This weekend look-out for Video (both your own and you tube), delicious bookmarking, the ability to take notes, to customise the look of your profile, tie your login with facebook/msn/gmail/yahoo/myspace etc and our cool new application, meBoy, where you can make your own boyfriend. Yup, it really is that sad! Oh... and as to never step on the toes of those “other” sites... we’re adding a new widget “Crap you don’t want” where you can send members virtual rubbish ranging from empty crisp packets to Vanilla Ice. It’s everything you hoped for, and less. If you have any rubbish gift ideas, let us know.

We also have a little computer boffin hidden in our cellar working on the finishing touches for adding events all round the UK... I’ll whip him harder when I get home.

Please help support the site by inviting anyone you know who could be interested.
